Office Alternatives

Today we set up a personal blog in class. For your first assignment I would like you to research alternatives to "Office".

To complete this assignment please create a post and list 5 alternatives to Microsoft Office. For each item in your list please:

• Give us the name of the product.
• Describe the alternative, and why you thought it was interesting/different.
• Link to the website where you found the alternative product or information about it.

I encourage you to search for online alternatives and see what you can find. An example of this would be Google Docs, but their are many others worth exploring as well.

Once you have completed the assignment please email me the link to your weblog so I can share it with the class. This assignment is due in class, Wednesday, September 9th.
